        Exactly, there has been no improvement in film tech that would be a 
benefit to "Westworld" and what we have now would tempt (and we all know 
how well Hollywood resists that) the studio to way overdo the FX for the 
remake. Admittedly they could modernize it since many of the things 
which were SF then are normal now but that would not really improve the 
film.

        Both "Ringworld" and "Ender's Game" have options  though nothing has 
been happening with them.
        Lieber would be great for film. His Fafhard and the Grey Mouser would 
make a great film series but they would probably be ruined by the 
Hollywood treatment. I pitched his "The Green Millennium" as I thought 
it would be a great film able to be made on a small budget.
        Remember Hollywood does not want intelligent films, They just want ones 
which easily sell to the brain dead masses.
