Why would it be good to remake Westworld? No one could ever replace Yul Brenner. It was a good movie, does not need to be remade.
There are great sci fi novels that have not seen the light of a screen, but are ignored. How can we never have seen anything by Larry Niven hit the big screen? Can you just visualize Ringworld? Or how about Fritz Leiber's "Gather Darkness". I would love to see Peter Jackson pick up on that. Or if we want simpler, how about Orson Scott Card's "Ender's Game".
