Audion 2.1 too never stutters on 9.1.
Claris emailer downloading emails and Warbirds played offline give a
slowing frame rate on my imac 233 withe an ATI 6 megs videocard, but I
don't need to see my mail when I'm fighting against Messerschmits or
Zeros......... I quit Emailer and go on playing Warbirds, or use the
Powermac G4/400 and both work quite fine toghether.
The real MacOS advantage over the other OSs was and still is the easy
troubleshooting.
Question mark on the floppy icon at startup? Boot from a CD, trash the
Finder preferences, Reboot. It WORKS.
I don't need to know anything else then a couple of mailing list like the
LEM lists where in three easy steps my MacOS problems are solved.
Tried to troubleshoot MacOSX with its thousands of anonimous files?
MacOSX will be a great OS when it will be easy to troubleshoot AND hard
to hack as the MacOS is. Or it will only remain another (nice) flavour of
UNIX. The OLD, OLD UNIX.
