In 9.x and earlier: Create a Ram disk ( I normally use about 5 meg) in the memory control panel and restart. Start your browser and go to preferences and select the cache section. there should be a button to press that says something to the effect of -- Cache Location. Choose the ram disk you just created and off you go. Note that the contents of ram disks are erased at each shut down, so that if there was something that you wanted to keep that is on it, save it to a regular HD before shutting down.
