I just looked under the hood of my 900. There are some rollers, and a long bar (rod). I cleaned these with some Kleenex -- Generic tissue will likely work just as well :) -- Because my 900 has not been making those left side marks for a few weeks, I do not know if the cleaning will eliminate the cause of the marks. However, the cleaning should not do any harm.
