On my 900, after the first episode of "The Marks" a new cartridge was necessary cuz I ran out of ink. The marks did go a way for some time, and never have been as so severe, not as persistent. Therefore i believe that the cartridge has something to do with the problem. I only use epson brand cartridges, out of fear that it might matter. However, I only have to get aa new cartridge about 2 times a year.
