Doesn't solve the problem completely. If you get a freeze, do
a forced restart, the Mac will warn you that it was shut down
improperly, do it's disk check and then sit there forever waiting for
you to say OK and your USB mouse won't work. I find having both
mouses plugged in all the time works the best.
