I think default for CD-ROMs (if there really is such a thing) is ID# 3
should be position 0 and position 1 closed. I have 2 Apple 8x's sitting out
of their Macs right here and they have the "parity" position closed and
termination enabled too. Since I haven't touched the jumpers this should be
how they came from apple.
