I upgraded from 4.7 - 7.0 - 7.01 and have not regretted it. Some people have problems but it is just about always fixable. Netscape 7.01 comes with a popup killer and has a lot more email options than what your using. Plus is support style sheets correctly. I wish it would support more JavaScript than it does but I hope that will come in the next version. It still supports more HTML CSS and JavaScript than Netscape 4.7 so web pages show up correctly.
(Rant warning ;-)
Then what exactly did I download? I thought it was Netscrape 7.? but it took for-ever to load, had lousy graphics, no option to use text only (no icons) and all kinds extra gar-baszhe taking up valuable screen space.
Did I miss something? Should I re-load it again?
So far I like iCab, but it seems kinda slow and I hate the way it renders <http://www.intellicast.com/Local/USLocalWide.asp?loc=kden&seg=LocalWeather&prodgrp=RadarImagery&product=RadarLoop&prodnav=none>
InternetExploder does a lot better job (compare them!) except for the *((*%^&%#$$ pop-ups from Expedia (who, when I wrote to complain, seemed to think that kind of intrusion is good for business.)
