Not on a 7300. If there's not an active signal on the ethernet port 
Appletalk will say it's not working ansd pop you back to the printer port.

You'll need the Apple ethernet drivers enabled, and then you can use 
either the AAUI port or the 10-base-T port, they're simply two different 
connection to the same ethernet on the motherboard.
