When I upgraded my 7500 with a Sonnet G3/500 (now has a G4/800),
I removed the L2 cache card and had to replace one pair of memory
sticks since they were 70 ns RAM. The identification labels on the
RAM chips DO indeed identify the speed as 70 or 60 ns.

The 9600 doesn't have a cache card.

That I don't know. Nor do I know how to fine out. I don't
suppose the manufacturer would have labeled the modules?
