Make sure the cache software for the processor card is installed and  
configured.

Running MacOSX is possible on the 7500 using XPost but i would not  
recommended it for anything beyond casual use and definitely not any  
production work. You can use your G3 processor, a G4 will work better.  
You will need at least 256MB of RAM but over 512MBs is recommended.  
Your video card may also need upgrading.
