Random freezes are usually an indication of bad RAM.   Even if the 
machine was operating properly before, the new configuration can lead 
to a different pattern of usage of the RAM which can cause system 
crashes and freezes.

It could be something else, but if you have not tested your RAM 
thoroughly, with RAMometer using the RAM Sandwich method, I would do 
so.    GaugePro seems to have a bug in systems with over 1 GB of RAM.

The G4/800 is incompatible with the Atto Ul2D but that causes a 
freeze at gray screen, not random freezes, so I don't think you're 
experiencing a similar problem with your 21960 card.
