The 9600 does not have a cache card.  The original 9600 has 512KB of 
soldered down cache.  Usually the software that comes with upgrades 
will disable it.   It may be disabled in hardware by removing 
resistor R31.

The 9600 Enhanced (AKA Kansas) does not have a cache on the 
motherboard, nor a slot for one.   The L2 cache on those machines was 
on the CPU card in the form of the 1 MB in-line cache.
