I have little or no experience with DVDs, since I am just too busy for it, but I have encountered the fading and sync problem for the first time AFTER I JOINED the Columbia House DVD club and they sent me 6 DVDs.
I called them and told them that the DVDs were bad and they sent me 6 more and 6 more again and then I changed the order and they sent me 6 more different ones, because the problems I had and then they sent me 4 of their best as an apology for the bad DVDs. NOW we know that none were in fact bad they just have copy protection and CH did not know how to realize that this was what I was experiencing. What a mess. I have 4 copy's of each one, anybody want one?
