Hi all, I am trying to remote administer a PowerMac 6500/275 without a monitor and I am getting really frustrated.
Some time ago, it was running Mac OS 9 and Timbuktu 1 worked fine but when I tried to set everything up this time (Mac OS 8.1) I get very ugly black-and-white display and I can't control the computer at all. AppleTalk is now on and it wasn't in the past and I don't think that would cause any issues, and one odd behavior is that this computer would not boot up without a monitor untill I removed every extension related to video. If it is plugged into a monitor after this, it runs fine even without the drivers and will at least boot up if no monitor is there. What are my remote-admin options for this Mac? VNC in the past had seems extremely prone to crashes and Timbuktu used to work for me but now that seems to fail for some reason.
