I know that Apple made a male-female ADB cable. Has there ever been an ADB female-female adapter offered?
The reason I ask is: I need a bit more reach for the mouse on my PM 9600 and would just as soon go with an adapter that would allow me to utilize my *existing* male-male cables rather than purchasing Yet Another Cable.
Yes, I had one (or two) supplied with a Laserwriter I to extend the reach of my Mac SE (1987). They vanished when cheaper PhoneNet connectors arrived.
ADB, Mac Serial and LocalTalk all use the same STYLE of connector (Mini-DIN) but with different number of pins (4, 8 and 3 respectively).
