--- Do you guys run with virtual memory on or off? I
run with mine on using a portion of the 60G ATA
drive. It says available for use on disk: 56839M
Available built in memory 609M Disk cache is 8160k.
Good? Bad? What are your settings? Obviously i'm
looking for a speed gain here. Thanks>>David

Some programs don't like VM and want it off. With over 600 MB you
probably don't need VM unless you are into absolutely huge Photoshop
projects. For web surfing and word processing it's probably a waste
of time. VM is mostly for trying to do projects that are to big for
the available RAM. And can slow down a system if overused.
