2 things,

1. For the USB adapter card support 1.4.1, there was a warning on the Apple
site : "Important: Mac OS versions 9.1 and later include a later version of
this software. Installing USB Adapter Card Support 1.4.1 over Mac OS 9.1,
9.2 or later could result in the USB adapter card not working."

2. Is the card USB 2.0? I've had problems with a USB 2.0 card installed in
a 7300 and a 9600 running OS 9.1. I kept getting a warning message and I
wasn't able to use the card with any of my devices. When I installed it in
my B&W running Panther, it worked just fine. When I installed Panther onto
my 9600 and then installed the USB card back into it, then it worked.

Hope this helps!
