I haven't looked lately but had thought USB card support 1.4.1 was the version in 9.1 . I can't look now as I am on wireless with my 1400 at a coffee house. The 1400 has no USB so the card support was not installed.
Anywaay, 1.4.1 worked great on PCI Macs for me with 3 different cards and I could almost swear OS 9.1. But I have been wrong before as I'm sure many listers would attest. I believe it has been said here many times that Legacy PCI Macs cannot support USB 2 transfer speeds at all.
