I click away the error messages about the dead battery and nothing seems to care much after that, so I guess it's not the battery unless it is leaking (eek!) I pulled my battery out so it wouldn't leak. :)
Good for you! I have always suspected we go on too much about these batteries! I take it you do not turn your machine off or need or mind setting the date and time etc?
