I think it must be! I can't imagine what you think I
could possibly do with my mac and quite frankly, if I
was a bad girl in the way you are thinking then I
would be too busy having a good time than to mess
around with old usb cards, scsi connectors and macs
out of skips! ;)
hmmm, when I think about it that way, maybe I need to
sort my life out! ;)

Oh well, I wasn't suggesting it was for everyone, and
you can of course always set the date by hand, but so
far, nothing I have used the mac for has cared about
the date.
Anyways, the point was that I don't think that having
no battery is usuaslly enough to cause the computer to
fail to boot etc.
