I was under the impression that the person that orig posted
this was asking how to remove items from the "Start MENU",
and not from "starting" as in "loading" with windows.  So if
I replied erroneously to those post(s), sorry.

So Ralph, for what you are asking, I assume that msconfig
can't be run in NT or win2k.  Here is some that may do the
trick for NT.

After seeing how Win2K operates and runs, as well as NT,
have found NO
way of getting to see what programs are getting loaded and
run when it
starts up, other than those that have the icon showing up in

right of the taskbar.

So how in the world do I get to see what is going on during
startup???
