I was under the impression that the person that orig posted this was asking how to remove items from the "Start MENU", and not from "starting" as in "loading" with windows. So if I replied erroneously to those post(s), sorry. So Ralph, for what you are asking, I assume that msconfig can't be run in NT or win2k. Here is some that may do the trick for NT. http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/stories/info/0,,00100J,.html http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/stories/info/0,,000HB1,.html and one for win2k; http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/stories/info/0,,0015T0,.html At the top of these pages you can enter 'start', 'startup', or 'start up' in the search bar and find more. -Clint http://orpheuscomputing.com Clint Hamilton, Owner Orpheus Audio/Video & Computing ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To one and all, After seeing this message, was wondering if there was any equivalent program to run to do the same for NT or 2K??? After seeing how Win2K operates and runs, as well as NT, have found NO way of getting to see what programs are getting loaded and run when it starts up, other than those that have the icon showing up in the lower right of the taskbar. So how in the world do I get to see what is going on during startup???
