That's about what it did with me. BTW, I use the optical
cordless now, and the first set were dead in TWO DAYS!! But,
2nd set is still going ok after 3 weeks. First may have been
already low (I use rechargeable batteries, and also have a
charger that can recharge any ALKALINE battery, that's a big
help). So, if you recharge them, it's no big deal. I also
get some "herky jerky"....."stuttering" type cursor movements
with this new unit and the older one as well. That happen to
you?

Subject: PCWorks: Logitech cordless mouse

I have a Logitech cordless mouse and I've found it really
sucks up the 2
AAA batteries. I've used 2 sets now and the mouse is only 4
weeks
old. It's the older type not the optical. Does anyone else
have this
mouse and what are your battery usage experiences like?
