To one and all,

I have been getting a consistant problem showing up with IE for sometime
now, and not sure what might be causing it or how to end it from
happening. Especially, but can happen at other sites as well I have
found, during the process I will describe following, many times I get
this box that IE has experienced a problem. It then gives me several
items that can be check or not - one to restart IE, one to send a report
to Microsoft or not. When I click to send or dont, the box closes, IE
closes down, and it open a new IE browser window. Since the problem is
totally random, meaning it does not happen with any rhyme or reason, I
have no idea what might be the problem causing the problem.

I seemed to especially start happening when I went from IE 5.5 to 6, but
even after going back to 5.5, the problem has constantly been happening
as well with 5.5, so that does not seem to really have had any effect
one way or the other.

I happen to like to go to the games web page from Netscape, and play a
particular game on a regular basis. When I click on the games listed, it
brings up the web page for the game. BUT, if I click on the play now
button, a smaller window opens up, and it goes through the loading
process for playing it on-line. When it finally gets to the final
loading process, it open 2 still smaller java windows, one for on-line
chating and one for the game itself. After some 15 minutes of playing,
you get an intermission time with some ad for an EA game, T-Mobile, the
Marines, or any number of other sponsers. After about 40 seconds it
redisplayed the playing area, where you can play for some 15 minutes,
and the whole things repeats itself, for as long as you play.

The problem of the error box showing up especially happens during the
times when things switch over from the playing display to the commercial
display. Again, it is totally random it would seem, since I can
sometimes play for hours without the problem happening. Yet other times,
it might keep happening repeatedly one time after another after another
trying to even start playing at all, till I just give up.

But it does sometimes show up with other web sites, not just the ones
for these games. And those do not seem to have anything with java
involved either, so I dont think that might be strictly an issue.

Any ideas???
