Jeff the address bar will also list sites you've visited. If you type part of the URL in the address bar, you can see IE's auto-complete remember it, and it can be a site you've never typed in the address bar. :-) -Clint

The history folder lists all sites you visited, including sites that you "clicked" on from another site, pop-ups, etc. Jeff Dougherty Intrepid Video TV/VCR www.intrepid-video.com www.tech-repair.net ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To one and all, Not sure if my subject is at all clear but here goes ---- What I am trying to find is the complete list of all the URLs that have been visited when using IE. However, I am finding what I think is a problem in obtaining them. When I run IE (am running 5.5), and click on the down arrow in the Address locator, it brings up a list of various and sundry URLs that have been visited. This becomes even more so when I start to type a URL in the address bar that I have previously visited, and all possible sites that were visited within that master URL are listed as possible to fill in and revist - this sometimes will result in 10+ complete URLs from starting the listing of the master where things start from. BUT, if I open explorer, and go to the history folder and explore each folder under each week or day directory, the amount of IE icons that get displayed from all folders does not seem to match anywhere near the amount of URLs you get listed and displayed when you view that from the down arrow list. Can the two sets of values be the same??? If they are not, is there another location where the complete and full list of all URLs that have been visited are kept on the system??? I am in need of a list of all URLs I have visited on this system, so I can save it off system and put it on my new system, with the current system totally wiped out for a complete new install from scratch shortly after I get critical files transfered.
