I've been following this thread with interest, ie: to learn and because I
bought a Dell Inspiron laptop a few years ago and have had no problems with
it (but one I haven't addressed,) but a friend of mine had some problems
with hers she bought right after I bought mine.  Anyway, I just wanted to
say "Way to Go, Girl!" for sticking to your guns and not letting anyone run
over you!!!  I am scared of you!

surprised - he wasn't here already.. He put me on hold. came back, and said,
They're NOT coming, and that I can install the SR CD's. myself.. with the
help if necessary.. of tech support.. via phone.

I said, NO WAY!!!!!  I was PROMISED by YOU(the salesperson). I didnt "ask
for it". YOU told me.. you're authorizing it..
