Hi Ed. I did pay by credit card..and always make large purchases this way..
I "think" Dell will stand behind their word now. cause when I spoke again, tonite, to my sales rep.. he said, the person he put me in touch with.(the woman who was nasty). SHE - had the authority to request that special Tech person. whom I did deal with.. and he(my sales rep). he said, believe me. now things will get .. cause this tech person. whomever he is.(his name is David). well, he's.. the head honcho.. So, hopefully, by tues/wed..t hings will be okay. and I"ll have a new hard drive. ..
