Hi Lori. >From everything I've read, Weatherbug.. IS Spyware.. If you have Ad-aware and Spybot installed it picks it right up..
So, I dont' use it.. Though I know alot of people that DO.. and dont' worry about the spyware feature of it..Why,, Is beyond me.. LOL As far as Spam.. I have a spam blocker with Earthlink.. and while it DOES take care of ALOT... There is alot of garbage that does get in.. I"m constantly asked if I want "?? something enlarged".. LOL.. Heck no.. I"m a WOMAN.. LOL Also, if you want to block things from getting into your computer,, I would suggest.. Ad-aware Spybot Search & Destroy Spyware Blaster, Spyguard. These are small programs,, dont take up alot of resources..(all FREE). and can be found at Wilders.org.. They've been tested, tried and true. and they do work..
