Hi Tom. .
Never thought of it in those terms.. Thanks..
So, do we 'stop writing'.. do we 'look over our shoulders'.. It's crazy.. I
know.. but this letter from this guy come out of the blue.. and it really
upset me to think that I made a post. saying something, which I "knew to be
true". from other sources, Tech Lists.. etc.. and he wrote to me directly.

Hey, just realized, he can probably access the list- archives again.. UGH..
Okay, I'm not going to write anything, except Have a good day.. etc.. from
now to eternity.. Okay, I know I'm being silly.. but it does upset me. to
think that "big brother is watching". and you can bet from now on..I"ll send
someone else to buy my brand of toilet paper.<SMILE> Only kidding of
course.

I guess it's the same, with phone lines, cause I"ve been on a cordless
phone, and have been talking to a friend, and my friend and I have heard
every word. another person is saying.(crossed line). so we hang up.. So, I
know it can happen, where people can hear your conversation.. but hadn't
realized, (though, I should have).. that ANYONE at all can access anything
we write.. UGH.

Anyway, Thanks.. I guess it was a lesson for all to learn.. Be careful what
we write..

Helene
