Geez! I just deleted 10 gig of my own stuff.....after I made copies
and put them on the D drive.

PLEASE do a back up if you go with this method.

It's that bad??? I'm not sure I have anything to back up to. I guess I
can do the D drive, but I'm trying to keep that as empty as possible so I can
make the big change over: making the D drive the master. Any time I tried to
back up to DVD they erased themselves! My other puter won't take floppies, it
only wants to format them even though I have lots of stuff already on them.

I had that for a while, too. It was the only way I could get on to
Audiogalaxy.com. Since I got the new hard drive (the 40 gig) I never bothered
to re-install it because I found out it was Spyware.

The really bad part is she goes to all these "free" ecard and funny pages,

I used to go to those things every once in a while, but I noticed that
they kept causing me to get booted, so I stopped going to them and told
people to stop sending me stuff from there because everytime I'd open one I'd get
booted.
