What Fuji film are you comparing Supra to?  NPS, NPH and NHG are all
quite mellow, and while Reala is more punchy, it certainly isn't overly
saturated like the consumer films.

As to scanning, I haven't really had any trouble with any particular
films other than Kodak Max 800 which, when overexposed (as it almost
always is due to the way it is marketed) scanned in a way that
hyperemphasized the grain.  I scan a lot of Reala.  I don't really have
any access to Supra (because I don't stock Kodak's colour products), so
I can't compare directly; I have scanned it, but nothing about the
experience jumps out at me as being exceptional.
