This does not make sense. They claim the camera has hyper functions; ie. you can 
switch from manual to aperture priority with press of a button. Whats the point in 
this if it simultaneously reset the custom functions?
My guess would be that it reset the custom functions only when the left dial is set at 
PF (Pentax functions). Otherwise it works like the IF button. Just a guess but it 
makes more sense.
