During the summer of 1986, I was on a internship in Corvallis, Oregon. A
local museum had a photo exhibited from the Vietnam era. They were press
and donated photos. There were bascially photos from Vietnam by and of
soldiers. And theere were "hippie" photos. All the soldiers photos were
buddy shots, guys smiling having a good time. All the hippie photos were
people pissed off protesting, conflicting with police, just generally MAD
people.
I was really struck to see the Warmongers as peaceful souls and the "MAKE
LOVE NOT WAR" crowd in battle.
Always seems the people who have FOUND PEACE, hide it away for safe keeping!
