Nope, none at all - just did a quick test @ 50mm with an even deeper hood -
2.5" deep, 2.5" diameter.  Tomorrow I'll try longer and narrower.  I think
there's still room for improvement as the hood I'm using works well even on
a 35mm lens.  At some point the hood will become ugly, unwieldily, or
vignette, but it's got a way to go on vignetting.
