Sometimes I wonder how much pressure he is under from the big guns. some of the reviews are very lenient while other are like the spanish inquisition.
The fact of the matter is that the camera is aimed squarely at users who will most likely want to shoot raw. The quality of the raw images is demonstrably better than the competition. As far as dynamic range goes I guess one has to try it out in a real world scenario and see .. I've had mine for only a few days and so far i'm impressed with its tonal qualities. I'v shot raw in really grotty light and managed to pull up crisp and punchy exposures from the raw files.
