I never carry the manuals. If there's something I want to photograph and I can't figure out how to do it, well, it was a crap photo anyway...
Technical manuals sprout like the clap. Earlier this year I decluttered my house and decided to make a place for everything and put everything in its place. You wouldn't believe the number of technical manuals that eventually gravitated to their place - they have an entire shelf all to themselves. And I'm not even a technophile, having relatively few gadgets and a TV that my friends laugh at for its antediluvianness.
