Hi Godfrey I must admit I explore all settings at least once when I get the camera, however I don't use the camera everyday, I can go weeks without touching it at times. It's the seldom used settings I tend to forget, as an example, I had to use a remote release a few weeks ago, took a little while to figure I had to use the FN botton to enble it's use.

If you're buying cameras faster than you learn one thoroughly, you're changing cameras way too fast. There's no need to. I'm still using 2003-2006 generation cameras and can't say I've exploited them anywhere near what I want to in order to get my value out of them. I'm still processing and selling photos I made in 2005 too.
