Godfrey, Cameras I knew and used for years - no manuals. I know the ME, Super Program, LX, etc.- simple stuff. Electronic marvels - I still need the cheater card for the functions on the PZ-1, PZ-1p, and MZ-S and carry it with the cameras. Digital life spans are short. I brought the manuals with me to GFM when I brought the *ist DS or K10D or K20D. K20D manual is in the bag today.
It all depends on how you shoot. I don't read and exhaustively test all the features on the camera, then memorize how to use them. That's why we have the written word. Regards, Bob S.
