Yep, I had a pickup truck like that, too.  Hated it in the rain (we 
don't really get snow around Atlanta) and on ice it was hopeless with my 
inexperienced hands on the wheel.  It took a real numbnuts to put ABS on 
one end only, and pick the front. :-(  Must've been a marketing geek (as 
opposed to an engineering geek) who made that decision.
