The Register reviewed and *really* likes the Pentax K-m (K2000).

This review approaches the K-m in the right perspective for its intended target market. It focuses on the overall package rather than dwelling on its few shortcomings. It's really unfortunate that DPReview slagged the K-m for image quality, when so many others have found its IQ to be just fine. IMO DPR picked some nits to justify their rating while they ignored serious shortcomings in other (read Canikon) entry level models.
