My only concern is the trouble that some people is having with rechargeable batteries (see dpreview forum threads). Having owned a Ds and owning now a K20D, I can say that, despite I much prefer the universality of AA batteries, the proprietary lithium ones seem more reliable. The Sanyo Eneloops fix problems with AA-size batteries.
