Good point, might be an alternative to factory-issued protective devices. I still think the absent minded may forget to keep d...@mn&d batteries fresh, tho. Manage to build such with some kind of movement- charging device and it'll be almost foolproof... A factory-issued item would be part of the periodic maintenance schedule, and probably best to the function. But more sue-able too.
