When you're in the two pane view, if the focus is in the thread/message
pane, hitting the down arrow moves you to the next message, hitting the
"n" key moves to the next unread message. If focus is in the message
pane the down arrow scrolls the message the n key still takes you to the
next unread message.

I want to keep all the sent and inbox mail where it is (other than the
junk I delete on purpose), rather than putting it elsewhere by using
the archive option. I could do that in Netscape...
