Well, I just tried with Freds little trick, and with practice I think it
will be quicker because you don't have to release the shutter until after
you close the back.

What I find interesting here is several of us are describing a method that
works for us 100% of the time. Then others say we are wrong do it their way
it only misses now and then. Something seems strange about that argument.

Take it as a given, Bill, Shel, Fred, and graywolf know how to load film in
an M series Pentax. <grin>
