LOL ...Ask a bunch of equipment nerds and you get equipment nerdy answers.  ;-)

I figure that since I have mFT stuff already, a small, light, cheap mFT body 
for a tossable travel lump is just fine. $150 for camera and a new lens seemed 
pretty nice for something that I can just shrug and move on if a truck runs 
over it. 

The Pentax X-5 is a bit of a faux DSLR with a fixed lens. I don't know what's 
retro about it. The Pentax MX-1 is retro and is pretty. That's about all it has 
going for it IMO.
