Sometimes, upgrading the photographer is the same as to tickle his or her 
curiosity through playing around with a new piece of kit. Even after tiring of 
a new toy, you may have become better at playing.

I never fell for the lensbaby thing, at least not yet, but gave in to a similar 
folly a couple of years ago when I got my hands on a lens from a decommissioned 
x-ray machine. Got some very interesting macro shots with it, after I got it 
attached to a K bayonet.
Special effects, for sure, but gave me a lot of fun and some learning to boot.
