The frigid temperatures you have to live with have evidently led to confused thinking. One person’s experience is no substitute for data. I’m not a fan of any car company — I’ve worked for them all and they’ve all been tough clients at times. But I don’t like bullshit. Here are some hard facts about dependability gleaned from the experience of many: http://www.jdpower.com/cars/awards/Vehicle-Dependability-Study-(VDS)-by-Category/843ENG
But if you like one owner experiences, I can tell you my 2014 Equinox has never required service in the three years I’ve owned it. Oh, and my’55 Chevy had never required service in the 16 years I’ve owned it. But that’s just one man’s experience, so like your experience with GM, it’s meaningless. all > On Dec 15, 2016, at 6:02 PM, Bill <[email protected]> wrote: > > On 12/15/2016 10:36 AM, Gonz wrote: >> Yes, its possible that there is a short somewhere that is getting hot, >> but not in the right place to function as a block heater.
