Is anyone reliably designing and building boards using .5 mm pitch BGA's? We're currently doing a layout using these little monsters!
Have used for over a year now. Just received boards with two 0.5mm BGA's on yesterday. Still, we mostly use 0.8mm BGA's due ease of routing without using microvias.
Can anyone recommend a good fab house for this kind of design?
DDi Tewkesbury in UK. They also do 75um traces (approx 3mil). http://www.eu.ddiglobal.com/
I have also heard good words about Sanmina-SCI, but never used them: http://www.sanmina-sci.com
There are others.
