Hi Hamid,

Does it? It is near impossible to test everything. If one tests product in pre-release, in situation one would use the product in the end, one is often saving time. In short term -- yes, it takes time to test; in long term most of problems one would otherwise meet would be fixed or at least one knows a good workaround.

If you chose to spend your time working for Altium (or any other for-profit business) for free, that is your choice.

Indeed! My choice to improve my own productivity; my choice to continually educate myself; my choice to fight against complacency; my choice of still having a job when new technologies emerge.

I assume that price of Protel would not be same, if Altium would hire
test team as good as bunch of every day Protel users in beta program.

My term for someone who does that would not be considered a flattering one.

Good to hear. I would suggest you to get a cup of fresh tea now.
